My Story
I have been selling kilts and highlandwear for several years now, having started by selling vintage items on ebay, I then decided to go and work for one of the largest highlandwear companies in Scotland. I was offered the job within 5 minutes having been the first job applicant to wear a kilt to the interview.
My passion for quality kilts and highland tailoring is obvious and infectious. Since I first put on a kilt, I never wanted to wear anything else. It is my ordinary form of dress for work, for play, for occasions - everything!
So it happened that as I was wearing my kilt one evening in a Glasgow Pub I was spotted by the talented artist Cecilia Cardiff. She was looking for subjects at the time and took a picture of me to paint from. I was totally unaware until about a year later, she saw me again and introduced herself and told me that a picture of me, The Big Munro, was hanging in a Glasgow gallery.
And so, I was reborn as the Big Munro. Having worked tirelessly for my employers, serving thousands of happy customers, it was time to follow my dream of running my own company and my ambitions of dressing the world in tartan.
